Tasks are actions that must be completed by VendorLink users. In some cases, tasks are automatically generated by VendorLink as a result of, for example, a contract evaluation. Tasks can also be created manually and linked to users.
Select a task to view all the details. You can also perform a task, edit a cancellation and add a note to the task in the details pane.
Filters can help you create a more specific overview of tasks. You can use the filters in the filter panel on the left to refine the task list.
All filters work together. For example, if you choose 'Open tasks', and 'My tasks', only open tasks to which you have been assigned as a user will be shown.
Users with at least one open task associated with them will receive the following notifications:
- An email when a task has been assigned to the users.
- An email on Monday when there is at least one task scheduled for that week.
- An email on the day that a task is due.
These e-mails contain information about the task(s) and when they should be performed.
