In Vendors it is possible to register complaints about your suppliers. On this way you get a clear overview of incidents at your suppliers, on which you can then act appropriately. Complaints can also be included in a Vendor Rating. The procedure for registering notes works on the same way.
There are two ways to register a complaint, from the complaints module and directly from the supplier details.
Register a complaint from the supplier page
- Navigate to Vendors > Suppliers > Select supplier > Details.
- Click the + icon at the top right of the page.
- Click on the input field next to 'Complaint'.
- Enter the 'Description' of the complaint.
- Select the 'Supplier', optionally enter a 'Department' in.
- Enter the current 'Status' of the complaint, and a 'Phone number' on which the submitter can be reached.
- Click on 'Add'.
Register a complaint via the complaints overview
- Navigate to Vendors > Complaints. On this page you see an overview of all registered complaints, filterable on various properties. Click on 'Add'.
- Enter the 'Description' of the complaint.
- Select the 'Supplier', optionally enter a 'Department' in.
- Enter the current 'Status' of the complaint, and a 'Phone number' on which the submitter can be reached.
- Click on 'Add'.
The complaint has been registered and will now be visible in the overview on this page page. In addition, this complaint will be visible on the detail page of the supplier, below Vendors > Suppliers > Select supplier > Details.
