VendorLink Sprint 37 - October 2021
Release date: October 7, 2021
About this release
This new release makes it possible to upload attachments to audit workflow steps, this way you can easily add extra information to the workflow process of an audit. In addition, it is now possible to send E-Signing reminders in open E-Signing requests and in Contracts > E-Signing you can see at a glance all current E-Signing requests from contracts for which you are authorized.
All new developments and fixed bugs can be found in these release notes.
General
Bugfixes
- It is now no longer possible for Client users to lock themselves out by activating themselves as a supplier contact for the Supplier Portal.
Start Center
Bugfixes
- Clicking on the recontract notification on the Start Center caused VendorLink to load indefinitely. This has now been fixed, clicking on the notification will redirect you to the contract planning overview with a filter on the column 'Procedure start date' on the past 30 days.
- You can now click through to the start center message that indicates that an X number of new vendors have been used in Spend. Clicking through will take you to Spend > Vendors > Inactive vendors with a filter on the 'Date created' column.
TEAM
Bugfixes
- Team emails contain a link that forwards you to VendorLink. This link did not always work, this has now been fixed.
- When adding email addresses (non-existing users) to a team, the name became invisible. This has now been solved.
- An issue where Audit teams were not always visible in the Supplier Portal has been resolved.
Spend
New
- Spend > Vendors is now refreshed after you return to the vendor overview from clicking on a supplier from that overview.
Vendor Rating
New
- It is now possible to upload attachments to an audit workflow step.
- A 'Select all' button has been added when adding checklist items to an audit.
- New columns have been added to the overview in Vendor Rating > Surveys > Unanswered Questions by User: Vendor ref, Vendor, Contract ref, Contract.
Bugfixes
- Documents submitted by suppliers through an audit were also uploaded to the regular supplier documents during audit approval instead of only to the relevant checklist item. This has now been corrected.
- Fixed a bug that prevented the mandatory comment from a certain value function in a survey from working correctly in all cases. It sometimes happened that a comment was not required when it was intended to be.
- In all survey types, a red message now clearly indicates where a comment still needs to be entered. This only happens when the respondent attempts to turn in the survey and not all of the required comments have been completed.
Vendors
New
- It is now possible to directly link a category to the new vendor from when approving a vendor in Vendors > New supplier data. You can activate this in Admin > Vendors settings > Supplier Data Portal > Required to select a category upon acceptance. It is then mandatory to assign a category to all new vendors.
- Changes to checklist items are now tracked in the change log.
Bugfixes
- After opening a checklist item at a supplier, it sometimes happened that you could no longer scroll correctly, this has now been resolved.
- The full vendors export did not export some special characters correctly, this has now been corrected.
Contracts
New
- An E-Signing reminder function has been added. For example, you can send a reminder in pending E-Signing requests to people who have not yet signed.
- A new overview has been added in Contracts > E-Signing. In the bottom overview you can now see all E-Signing requests from contracts for which you are authorized but not a signatory.
- The 'Projects' tab can now be hidden in the contract details. This option can be found in Admin > Contracts Settings > Settings > Visibility Tabs in Contract Details.
Bugfixes
- Fixed an error that prevented the date format from displaying correctly for English speaking users when renewing a contract.
- An error that caused the columns 'Value recurring (total) excl.' and 'Value once excl.' kept appearing automatically after you hid them has been fixed.
- One of the Vendor Management roles was required to download RFQ attachments (in the details tab). This has now been changed so that you need at least one of the RFQ roles to download the attachments.
Tasks
Bugfixes
- If you are only authorized to see a contract but not to see the associated vendor, contract tasks were not shown in the task overview. This has now been solved.
- The wrong date format was used in some email notifications. This has been adjusted so that the date format used depends on the language setting of your user account.
Admin
New
- Default notifications have been rearranged. Many default notifications that were visible in Admin > General Settings > Default Notifications are now located in Admin > Vendors Settings > Vendors Notifications/Admin > Contracts Settings > Contracts Notifications/Admin > Vendor Rating Settings > Vendor Rating Notifications.
- The usable tokens for the notification 'Workflow invite user Contracts' have been expanded. Read here which VL tokens you can use now.
Supplier Portal
Bugfixes
