VendorLink Sprint 49 - August 2022
Release date: August 25th, 2022
About this release
E-Signing
It is now possible to put E-Signing signers on hold. They cannot sign at that time. In this way you can determine the order of signing.
Documents required in audits
When you send an audit and request documentation from your suppliers, you can now oblige the supplier to supply a certain type of document (checklist item).
See the release notes below for full details regarding this release.
General
Bugfixes
- If a team in the Teams functionality is linked to a vendor or contract, you can now click on the vendor name/contract name to navigate directly to it.
- Spaces are no longer allowed in client user usernames and in email addresses of contacts at your vendors.
Spend
New
- The filter in the 'Categories' column in Spend > Vendors has been refreshed. This category filter shows the category tree, and allows you to filter on multiple categories at the same time.
- The 'Category' column has been added to Spend > Commodities > Select commodity > Details.
- If a Spend link with ISPNext is used, we now show data about the type of invoices in your Spend data. This data can be viewed in Spend > Process Analysis > Invoice file types, here you can find all kinds of overviews and graphs that give you insight into this data.
Vendor Rating
New
- A 'Select all' function has been added when selecting vendors/contracts in step 2 of setting up a Vendor Rating Group.
- Survey groups (Vendor Rating > Surveys) now need to be archived before they can be deleted.
- It is now possible to oblige vendors to upload an attachment to a checklist item in an audit. You can set this up via the option 'Document needed' with a checklist item in Admin > Vendors settings > Tables > Checklist items.
- The furthest end date of an attachment uploaded to a checklist item in a supplier audit is placed in the 'Valid through' field of the checklist item in the supplier details upon approval of the audit.
Bugfixes
- Archived audits can now be deleted again.
- The end date of a document uploaded to a checklist item in an audit was not taken over when the audit was approved and the document was saved with the vendor details. This has now been corrected.
Vendors
New
- The Columns feature has been added to Vendors > Checklist items.
- Additional vendor detail fields have been added to Vendors > Checklist items.
- A column has been added in the supplier overview: Authorization labels. This column shows the associated authorization labels. You can make the column visible via the Columns function.

- The Description/Confidential/Category fields can now be set for attachments of e-mails sent to VendorLink via the forwarding function.
Contracts
New
- It is now possible to put E-Signing users on hold. They cannot sign at that time. In this way you can force signing in a certain order. If a user is on hold while sending the E-Signing request, they will not receive an invitation. If you later remove the user from on-hold, you must send an invitation (or reminder via the reminder function) yourself.
- When a document has been shared with the vendor (function 'Share in Supplier Portal' with an attachment), the description of the attachment is now also shared.
- A column has been added in the contracts overview: Authorization labels. This column shows the associated authorization labels. You can make the column visible via the Columns function.
- Approving a contract can only be done via the link that users receive / via Workflow Tasks on the start center. The 'Contract approval' tab in the contract details is now only for managing the workflow.
- It is now possible to set all attachments uploaded to a contract to be automatically shared with the supplier. The option 'Share in Supplier Portal' is then automatically checked for newly added attachments. The option can be found above the attachment table in the 'Attachments' tab in the contract details. The option is only visible if 'Documents available in Supplier Portal' is activated in Admin > Contracts settings > Settings.
- When you share a contract attachment, the contract is also shared in the Supplier Portal. To indicate this more clearly, the setting that determines this, the setting 'Share contract in Supplier Portal' in the 'Authorization' tab in the contract details is set to ON.
- The Description/Confidential/Category fields can now be set for attachments of e-mails sent to VendorLink via the forwarding function.
Bugfixes
- When adding contract obligations in Contracts > Contracts > Select contract > Financial > Obligations, the search for cost categories did not work, this has now been corrected.
- In some cases the overview with all E-Signing requests (Contracts > E-Signing) was not loaded, this has now been corrected.
Tasks
Bugfixes
- If a task was linked to a vendor, users with the 'Vendor Management Moderator' role had a 'To supplier' button visible with which they could navigate directly to the vendor. This button is now also visible to users with the 'Vendor Management Viewer' and/or 'Vendor Management Register' roles.
